Donors Make the Library Extra Special

The Stillwater Public Library Foundation goes beyond the city’s tax-supported budget to elevate the library’s materials, programs, and important services. Donor generosity makes this extra support possible, funding key initiatives like:

MATERIALS

• Multiple copies of popular, new books to shorten waiting lists

• Up-to-date editions of favorite nonfiction materials

• Replacement copies for heavily worn, well-loved books

• Props and materials that bring the children’s Discovery Room to life

• Wi-fi hotspots for patron checkout

• Ongoing support for print newspaper subscriptions

PROGRAMS

• Opportunities for all ages to learn, connect, and grow

• An incredible summer of enrichment, engagement, and fun for kids and adults

• Special programs and classes throughout the year for children, teens, and adults

SERVICES

• Sustaining heavily used Sunday open hours from September-May

• Funding a part-time Youth Services Librarian to expand youth initiatives

• Employing a Volunteer Coordinator to connect community help to the library
